"Then why did you take collections?"

"Huh? Oh, you have to charge 'em, Jubal. The marks won't pay serious attention to anything that's free."

"I knew that, I just wondered if you did."

"Oh, yes, I grok marks, Jubal. At first I did try to preach free-just give it away. I had plenty of money, I thought it was all right. It didn't work. We humans have to make considerable progress before we can accept a free gift, and value it. Usually I never let them have anything free until about Sixth Circle. By then they can accept . . . and accepting is much harder than giving."

-- Mike and Jubal -- Stranger In A Strange Land, by Robert A. Heinlein

Note: These funds are considered donations to the Order. They are non-refundable. If you send us money, it's strictly your decision and you will never see it again. We mention this because we've had members leave before who thought we owed them a refund. :)

Individual membership: $24
Household membership (2 or more adults): $39
Student / Senior membership: $12
Lifetime membership: $450 one time

At this time, a portion of all donations will go toward Haitian Earthquke Relief

Where will the money go? If you are a member of an OMS Grove, pay your fee to your treasurer. 1/2 of money's paid to local Groves are sent to the Mother Grove. The rest stay in the local Grove. Solitary members pay their dues to the Mother Grove.

A portion of all monies received by the Mother Grove are redistributed to one of our approved charities*. Three dollars ($3.00) of your initiation fee goes to the RDG because when you join OMS you are also joining RDG.

Fees are NOT tax deductable.
